  • CCC has installed over 16,000km of pipeline or around 1.5 times the circumference of the moon!

  • CCC has constructed facilities for more than 4,000,000 BPD or 20% of the US annual consumption per day (US Oil Consumption Report 2008).

  • When completed, the Ras Laffan Port in Qatar, a CCC project, will enter the record books as the second largest manmade harbor in the world.

  • The Khalifa Sports Hall-Sports Dome in Doha, Qatar, another CCC project, is the world’s largest air-conditioned indoor facility of its kind and sits under an architecturally unique edifice consisting of two semicircular shells. The dome is a landmark development for Qatar and the region, and the Sports Hall was used for the 2006 Doha Asian Games.

  • CCC’s Pearl GTL Project, Qatar, is the largest gas-to-liquid project in the world.

  • Trains 6 & 7 of the QatarGas 3 & 4 LNG Plant in Qatar are the largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains in the world at 7.82 MTPA. With the completion of these two trains, CCC has become the most experienced LNG construction contractor worldwide. In total, CCC has built 17 LNG trains with a net capacity of 82 MTPA, equivalent to 30% of all LNG facilities in the world.

  • CCC’s Borouge Ethylene Cracker 2 in Abu Dhabi is the largest ethylene cracker in the world with 1.4 MM ton/year.

  • The Oman India Fertilizer Plant in Oman, is one of the largest grass root fertilizer plants in the world (3,500 MT/day of ammonia and 5,060 MT/day of urea).

  • Once completed in 2012, the Landmark Building, Abu Dhabi, will be the second highest tower in Abu Dhabi at 324m.

  • The Dubai Mall Project, Dubai, is the largest shopping mall in the world based on total area. The project comprises a 515,000m2 Mall Area, about the size of 50 soccer fields; a 550,000m2 car parking area; and a district cooling plant building of 42,000 refrigeration tons.
  • The Dubai Mall boasts the Dubai Aquarium, including a 270degree walkthrough tunnel and the world’s largest viewing window.
  • The Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Center, an education ecology and marine life experience centre, clinched the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Acrylic Panel, measuring 32.88m wide x 8.3m high x 750mm thick and weighing 245,614 kg, with the capacity to hold 10 million liters (2.64 million gallons) of water. This places it as the second largest tank in the world. The aquarium has more than 33,000 living animals, including over 400 sharks and rays combined.

Construction of a new airport with a 3,200m runway, taxiways, arrival buildings, fuel storage facilities, radio and navigation equipment, and related infrastructures. Construction of a 21km heavy haul road, 2 new bridges, and associated drainage works.

The runway is considered the longest airfield in the Southern Hemisphere.

Construction of 3 flyover bridges and 42km of road works, hard and soft landscaping, a 7km utility tunnel and 16 buildings, sewage and water treatment plants, drinking water, potable water, drainage, irrigation, fire fighting, storm-water and sewage networks, a central chilling plant, a central boiler plant, a central pumping plant, service piping for chilled water, hot water and LPG, and emergency power plant, medium voltage switchgear, outdoor packaged substations, cables, lighting and low current systems.
